Margaret Schwab, DVM

Dr. Schwab is a 2016 graduate of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, with a BS in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. Dr. Schwab has special interests in soft tissue surgery, feline medicine, endocrinology, and pain management.

Prior to coming to Douglas Blvd Veterinary Clinic, she worked in a general and emergency medicine practice, in the East Bay and a general practice in Georgia. She completed her Fear Free Certification and is committed to handling her patients with care and compassion.

Dr. Schwab lives with her husband Brett, dog “Oso” and 1 cat “Bruce” (her first bottle-raised baby). She enjoys hiking with Brett and “Oso” and at home, she loves to crochet and quilt, and more recently she discovered the art of decorating sugar cookies! Dr. Schwab is looking forward to building relationships with her clients and their beloved pets because she says it’s a wonderful feeling being the person a pet parent comes to for advice and reassurance.
