  • Daniel Foster, DVM, Medical Director

    Dr. Foster attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2010. Dan graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.
    Dr. Foster enjoys educating clients on any preventative care and health concerns for their dogs and cats as well as finding the appropriate treatment plan for the individual patient.

    When not at the clinic, he spends time with his wife, son, two dogs and a cat (Lucy, Dozer, and Westley). He stays busy with many around the house DIY projects.

  • Kelsey Giardina, DVM

    Kelsey Giardina earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2012 from UC Davis, and then went on to graduate from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.

    Kelsey and her husband, Anthony, enjoy living up in the mountains of Colfax with their dog, Archie, and two cats, O’Malley and Clover. In their spare time they enjoy hiking, quading/dirtbiking, and just relaxing and enjoying a good book! Kelsey also enjoys training with Archie, and hopes to one day enter Obedience and Rally-O competitions with him.

  • Margaret Schwab, DVM

    Dr. Schwab is a 2016 graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, with a BS in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. Dr. Schwab has special interests in soft tissue surgery, feline medicine, endocrinology and pain management. Prior to coming to Douglas Blvd Veterinary Clinic, she worked in a general and emergency medicine practice, in the east bay and a general practice in Georgia. She completed her Fear Free Certification and is committed to handling her patients with care and compassion. Dr. Schwab lives with her husband Brett, dog “Oso” and 1 cat “Bruce” (her first bottle raised baby). She enjoys hiking with Brett and “Oso” and at home she loves to crochet, quilt and more recently she discovered the art of decorating sugar cookies! Dr. Schwab is looking forward to building relationships with her clients and their beloved pets, because she says it’s a wonderful feeling being the person a pet parent comes to for advice and reassurance.

  • Aurora Flanagan, DVM

    Dr. Flanagan is a graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, with a BS in Animal Science. Prior to graduate school, she worked as an adoption counselor at her local humane society and has a passion for rescue animals. Before joining the Douglas Boulevard team, Dr. Flanagan worked in a busy general practice, and later as a teacher for Registered Veterinary Technicians—and now she brings that passion for education to helping owners understand what is going on with their pet. Dr. Flanagan is Fear Free certified and wants both you and your dog or cat to feel comfortable coming to the vet’s office for care!
    Dr. Flanagan lives with her husband and dog, cat, and parakeet. In her free time, Dr. Flanagan provides spay/neuter services to several local animal shelters and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
